A Batida Da Rua, Hexham’s premier percussion group, will perform an hour of hip shaking and ground quaking music. Spanning continents and cultures like the Roman empire you can expect to be invaded by the rhythm.

The band will finish the gig with the debut performance of a brand new piece titled Saturnalia, a melding of traditional Northumbrian folk with North African and Brazilian beats.
