As dusk settles and darkness falls, hear how the Romans lighted up their homes at Arbeia, South Shields’ Roman Fort.

These celestial candlelit tours are the perfect way to step back, enjoy and reflect at this special time of year.

The experience includes a guided tour by the museum curator and other experts, plus free time to explore the reconstructed Commanding Officer’s House. Afterwards, enjoy a Q&A session over light refreshments, including hot drinks and mince pies.
