A relaxed workshop working with local artist, Amy Brooks (Mrs Barts), and Curlew Life, where you will create your own impressive version of a curlew – the iconic bird of Hadrian’s Wall – using watercolour paints and gold leaf. Mrs Barts is here to help with the artistic side of things and Tina from Curlew Life will be around to astound you with curlew facts, and what the RSPB and Northumberland National Park are doing to secure the future of this evocative bird.
Suitable for 14 years+ ALL ARE WELCOME.
This workshop is perfect for both beginners and those wanting to broaden their skills. All equipment, including aprons, will be provided and you’ll leave with your completed artwork all ready to be framed.
Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on.
