Delivered by: Food Carlisle
Food Carlisle, in collaboration with the Rural Regeneration Unit Ltd, is hosting a series of Food at the Frontier events for all in the community to enjoy.
This event is being held at Carlisle Cricket Club, where visitors will have the opportunity to walk around the vallum and view ancient artifacts and objects, find out what the Romans ate and sample Roman Food courtesy of local chef John Crouch and design a Roman Road with STEM ambassador Tony Dixon.
This is a family friendly day out and there will also be bouncy castles and the chance to play soft ball cricket, so why not bring a picnic to enjoy a fun interactive day out.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
