A film depicting the real route of Hadrian’s Wall through Newcastle. The aim is to make people aware of the exact location of the Wall and associated structures and settlements. The film will be interspersed with short clips illustrating relevant places along the route, involving local residents where possible. We want to to show visually how the route relates to actual recognisable places today. The film will be completed by Spring 2022, with a series of showings taking place throughout the rest of the year. The film will be accessible through our website and copies will be produced for use by schools and other organisations.
