Join Sustrans volunteers and staff as they Nordic walk from Segedunum to Newcastle Quayside. Please join these free sessions if you would like to give Nordic walking a try.
Beginners are very welcome. All instructions will be given and poles are available to borrow.
This 5 mile linear one way walk is suitable for families. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The route is fairly flat throughout.
Meet at Segedunum, Buddle Street, Wallsend, NE28 6HR at 10.15am.
You will need to bring along clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for a walk and the weather and a snack and a drink for yourself. Public transport is available for the return journey back to the start. For this you will need some money. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking is essential so they can manage the number of participants on each session.
Please do not attend if you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive.
