Brampton Chamber Choir and historian Max Loth-Hill bring to life some of the stories of Hadrian’s Wall in a performance combining choral music and short talks. The choir will be singing works from the Elizabethan era, to complement the story of William Camden, who in 1599 became one of the first people to walk the wall and write down what he found. There will also be music celebrating the natural flora and fauna surrounding the wall, and the première of a brand new piece written by local composer Martin Johnson.
