Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Community Grants

Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Festival is delighted to be offering a series of community grants to help deliver festival activity.

Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Community Grants have been made available with funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund to support the creation and delivery of events and activity for Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Festival.

The grants will be administered by Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums (TWAM) in partnership with English Heritage on behalf of the Hadrian’s Wall Partnership.

Please note – the deadline for Round 3 has been extended to Friday 14 October.

Festival of Saturnalia

For the final round of Community Grants we are encouraging applications towards Festival of Saturnalia activity.

Saturnalia was possibly the most popular Roman festival and is most closely associated with Christmas and merrymaking.

We’re giving Saturnalia a Hadrian’s Wall 1900 makeover with a really special community-led celebration to see the year out in style.
